I'm thinking of getting Swamp Lite 25" tires for my 2000 400 foreman.Any one have any comments on these tires,they have size to fit the stock 11"rims.After 11 yrs. the stock tires are wourn out.Stock tires are 24",wanted alittle more height.

 

I had Swamp Lite's on one of my quads. Pretty darn nice tire. Nice ride, excellent snow tire, good trail tire, and decent in a little mud. My only complaint was that they didn't wear as well as some other tires. However, if you got 11 years out of your stockers... the Swamp Lite's should last a long, long time.

Edit: One last thing... if I remember correctly, they ran a little short. So you may not be gaining much GC... but it's been a long time, so I can't be sure. Maybe someone here has a more recent set, and can verify.

 

I had 27" swamp lites on my outty 800 (in my avatar)

They will grab onto and fling crap everywhere- sticks, rocks, mud, other atv'ers that get in your way...

I don't know if you'll find any to fit an 11" rim though- I thought they only came in 12" & 14"- but I might be wrong on that...

 

Thanks, they do come in 11" size ,not many 25" tires do.Thats what made me decide on them.

 

I have aset on my 850, like them so far, not many miles on them

 

I like the swamp lite reptiles which is the radial version, have them on my wifes rancher 400 at and smooth ride and great traction
