Default 400ex rear sprocket removal

I was wondering what all has to come off and how it comes off, never have done rear sprocket before and I'm definitely due for a new one. Sorry if it sounds dumb but u rather do it right the first time and not mess anything up on the rear. thanks

Just take the wheel off remove the sprocket bolts and it should be able to be turned to line up with the sprocket mount to slide over it, then it'll slide over the hub. Nothing to it.

i would recommend installing all hardware at the same time to get more life out of it, chain and both sprockets , because if u put something new in , the old will mess up the new in a matter of no time, especially one that pulls as hard as these racing 4 wheelers do, if one is wearing out before the other then ur chain is not tightened right, may be to loose or too tight the all should wear evenly..... its a waist of money replacing one of these componets, but if u do all at one time it will last years, according if u go in mud or not........ my 75 cents.
