I installed heated grips and thumb warmer from moose- you can get the kit for about $120 on ebay.
Best money I ever spent- make sure you get the epoxy to secure the grips to the bars, the non-epoxy grips will fall off and twist when they heat up.

I did over 30 miles today- was 22* out- even with 80gram (not the cheapo 40g) thinsulate gloves your hands will get frosty gripping cold bars- my hands stayed toasty all day! I installed them myself in about 30 minutes, it was easy.

I also picked up heated socks that plug into the thumb / grip warmer module nice and toasty toes & fingers!

They actually don't use too much power- maybe 5 watts for the grips, 2 watts for the thumb and 4 watts for the socks. Even at night with the lights & extra halogens on I have no charging problems. You won't regret buying the heated grips- I guarantee it!

here's the link to the moose set- you can also get just the grips for about $40

Tusk Handlebar Grip Heater Kit With Molded Grips | Rocky Mountain ATV/MC

I wore out my first pair (rubber grip and tore the wires out of one) and just installed my second set a week ago. The first set lasted 4-5 years.

The temperature control is a rheostat so you can set the temp anywhere you want.

This is a great deal, don't pass it up it you are even thinking heated grips.

(sorry the pics are soo big)
I need some of these
