Default Replacing starter brushes on 2003 honda rancher

hello. my starter brushes on my 03 honda rancher are shot. was looking on OEM schmatics and all i see is the spring and the coil wire. can anyone tell me where to get the carbon brushes? it takes two and do i need to replace the little coil wires connecting the brush to the plate?
thanks

Take your starter (or at least the brushes) to a automotive electric shop-they should be able to get you the correct parts.

These are what you need, part numbers in Honda...
31201-KS5-901 terminal brush set
31206-MN4-008 holder brush set.
When changing make sure to disconnect battery, and to replace the o rings and fibre washers back in the order and place they came off.
