oil flter??

Default oil flter??
I have a Honda Recon year 2000, i do not have a manual. Does this machine have an oil filter if so is there a wix filter that will fit. Is 10 30w oil ok to use?

No oil filter on the Recon... 10W-30 will be fine.

If I remember correctly there is a screen somewhere that you need to clean once in a while.

10W-30 oil is okay IF....IF...it states on the donut circle that it's not energy conserving.

I use Rotella 5W-40 synthetic in my son's 09 Recon. It's JASO-MA rated for motorcycle/wet clutch use.

Remove all doubt and use Honda GN-4. It might be a few bucks more but the Recon only takes 1 1/2 quarts so no big deal.
