Front end alignment
#2
I don't know if there's a quick and easy way, but adjust the new ones close to the same length as the old ones. Then, put a chaulk mark on each tire on a center tread. Roll the quad and tires so that the marks are in the exact front. Measure the distance between the marks. Then roll the quad back until the marks are in the exact rear of the front tires. Measure between the marks. You might have to roll a little further back because the fenders get in the way of measuring. Anyway, check the manual for the toe in measurement. I think it's 3/4" or so. The front measurement should be 3/4" shorther than the back (the fronts of the tires are closer together than the backs). So, keep adjusting the tie rods until you get that. Make sure when you are finished adjusting that the tie rods rotate back and forth without binding with the wheels turned all the way in both directions. Once you get the toe in right, check if the handle bars are straight when riding. If they aren't, adjust each tie rod the same amount until they are. Then re check the toe in. It can be a tedious job but.....

You also could use an small string tided to rear axle and pull around rear tire to front with steering straight, like an plum line let the string barely touch rear tires while hold string at frontend, then you should be able to see the toe on front at edge of tire then adjust tie-rod ends to correct setting.
