'88 Fourtrax 300 Choke Cable Question?
I have managed to break the choke lever on my 88 and thus, the cable needs to be replaced because of the fact it is seized up.
Does anybody have any tips on how to go about doing this? I have the actual choke lever "box" on the handle taken apart, and when I followed it down to the engine, kind of want to see if anyone can tell me how to go about doing it. Should the fender be taken off for access?
Also, when I go to buy parts @ my local parts place, I swear they look at a site that I can actually go to to get the parts. Can anyone recommend someone for parts online that is creditable and honest?
Thanks so much in advance,
Chris

Welcome aboard! ronniesmailorderonline.com are nice and honest, they will ship to your door also sells 10 percent off to everyone. No your fender doesn't have to be removed, to replaced choke cable remove tank and reroute just like old one, Also if you got to replaced choke lever! just split the left handle bar combo switch by removing two phillp head screws, remove c-clip , pin, spring,...If you got to replaced complete combo switch? while tank is off the left front corner of frame[in front of tank] there is an junction box with and 10mm head bolt, remove that bolt an the door of junction box will swing open and the connections are inside there, just unplug and replug.....
