Manufacturers wisely imported minimal model numbers and in some cases, decided to shut down production completely until prior model year stock was exhausted.
That said, it’s certainly good news that American Honda Motor Company is announcing its first release of machines for the 2012 model year. The 2012 FourTrax Foreman kicks off the beginning of an exciting new season for Honda.

They made the 500 Foreman a liquid cooled, same 475cc and still a low reving OHV, no AWD diff lock options once again.
Not sure if liguid is a great idea, the air cooled 475 had two oil coolers, more that enough to cool down a motor that only made 28hp and had no rad , water pump or rad hoses and thermostats to go wrong down the road.
I ride with a few 500 Foremans and over heating was never a issue with them , but there 3wd sure gets them stuck earlier than the rest in the group.
The switch from two back shocks to a single shock on the SRA sounds more like a cost savings feature then a ride improvement.

Honda has nobody to blame for declining sales but themselves- Honda will either be forced to upgrade, or be lost in the shadows of the new age big bores- Honda can't even hold a candle to the features of the new polaris xp, can-am's renegade / outlander or yammy's grizzly! And the whole cvt vs traditional tranny argument is getting old with me and not really holding much water-
Even suzuki is pissing me off with their lack of design- their 2011 KQ looks pretty much like their 05- and it still has the same'ol boring gigantic gage hanging over the bars
Polaris, Yamaha & Can-Am have been running the big bore show for awhile now, IMO.
I would love to read an article / interview where Honda is questioned about their blatent snub on atv updates...
