I recently posted how hard it is to clean mud and clay out of my radiator.... I found this awesome stuff called ace foam and clean... spray it on then spray it off it'll make it look bran new....

 

You should post this over in the spring cleaning contest too.

 

#40 tip on the power washer works great. All I ever used to keep mine clean-

 

may sound dumb but try spraying pam cooking spray on it before you ride. I Do it on my Plastics and number plates before racing if its muddy to make my number easy to read. sure it will help with your problem too.

 

Not a good idea to be spraying pam on your radiator.
the soy lecithin found in non-stick cooking sprays will build up and create a sticky "hard" film over time- it won't take much to clog or reduce the cooling capacity of the radiator.

on a different note: FYI for those of you who use non-stick cooking sprays; the film that's stuck on the pan after you're done cooking- that "impossible to get off without a steel wool pad or oven cleaner" film- that ugly film that discolors the beautiful stainless steel pan... is soy lecithin. Just use plain olive oil (which has a higher burn temp then vegetable oil) and your pans will always look good as new.

so ya- don't be spraying PAM in your radiator.

 

But, if they are spraying it on the seat it would probably work to keep the radiator clean... especially after the first turn But seriously if you want to us something to help make cleanup a little easier on your plastics I recently saw something about spray on tire foam cleaner. I haven't tried it, but I don't play in the mud enough to worry about it... but they said that it makes the plastics really shiny too

 

Maybe were just using the wrong Pam, or the wrong seat.

 

And it wasn't easy finding a picture of her where she doesn't look scary now.

 

Could be I imagine I'd get rid of the spray one for this one for my seat
