I don't know much about snorkels but if you go up on the main jet it'll probably run worse cause if it's struggling already it sounds like when the snorkel is on it's rich so if you go up it'll get richer. Maybe go down a couple sizes and then you'll get not more air just less fuel which may help the mixture.

Wait on second thought the main jet won't matter cause i doubt you're going up the ramps at 3/4 to full throttle!

ight well why u think it ran wit plenty of power with 1.2" pvc and i had alot of pipe ruining it to make two pipes come up there r pics of it in my profile if u can see them but after the rebuild it ran funney with it thats why i ran bigger shorter pipe to get more air if the snorkel is hooked up the way i have it now it has no load power if i take the top off the filter box it runs fine i thought it might b my new air filter with that no toil stuff sprayed over it was restricting me but i took it off and ran it with out the air filter and the snorkle hooked up and it still had no load power.its the funniest thing with this bike ive been scratchin my head for two weeks.

Generally a snorkel will reduce air flow into the carb, mainly at mid to high flow rates.

You will have to go down jet sizes until you get the mixture right. You will still be low on power, but at least it shouldn't bog down from being rich.

For specifics on your machine you might try asking over at the high lifter forum, since they tend to cater to the mud/snorkel crowd.

First thing to do when a miss develops, mostly because it's easy and cheap, is change the plug. I had a miss I worked on for a month before I finally changed the plug. Once I did that, it ran perfect.
