Default Problem with '08 420

I have a problem with my 420. When I turn the key on the dash illuminates but is blank nothing shows on the screen, only the orange background. The fuel pump doesn't work and neither the neutral or the FI will light up. The starter doesn't work neither does the electric shift. The headlights are bright and the battery tests good. I can roll it over with the recoil and it will start and function properly. Shut it off and it goes blank again. I had it out for a run yesterday, and it worked fine. So what could of happened? Thanks for any help.

Anyone know? Could a faulty solenoid cause this? Thanks.

Hello All,
My 10 month old Rancher started what felt like a quick slip in 2nd gear. The selling dealer said "ride it till it breaks". Well it finally broke. 2nd gear slips pretty good, 4th gear is completely gone, 5th gear and reverse are starting to act up. Back to the dealer, "don't ride it, you'll make it worse" was the response.
