I recently bought a 2001 400EX and it had some issues right away that I have mostly dealt with. One thing I am having a problem with is finding the rubber slider/guide that the chain rides on that is mounted to the skidplate for the swingarm. I really do not want to go spend $100 on a new skidplate when the one I have seems fine except for this issue. I remedied it with a strip of rubber that I glued to the skidplate. It is very thin however, and not going to last very long. I am just wondering if anyone knows where I can get this rubber piece to fit an OEM skidplate. Thanks in advance!
