Default HELP 07 Rincon Wont Start

Hi guys i just got my 07 rincon cv replaced today and i fired it up it run for a bit then died now it wont start I did the vavle adjustment the other day on it but it fired up since then and i wouldnt think that would have anything to do with it. I check the air fliter and the run switch is on and im pretty sures its a fuel issue cause it acts likes its not getting gas! the fuel pump kicks on and we got it to start a few times then it would die like it had no gass. So we sprayed some start fuild in the intake and it started for a few secs then died. Do u think it could have a cloged fuel fulter? or injecter? and can i take the injeter out to see if its spraying or test it some how? thanks.

pull your fuel line off the carb and turn the key on so the pump comes on and see it any gas is coming out of the end of the line and that tell y if the filter is ok could also be the carb needs a good cleaning it it is getting gas hows your spark plug

Yeah it's efi. Considering you just adjusted valves, the first thing I'd look for is pinched or kinked fuel or vent hose to the sub tank that the pump lives in.

No, it shouldn't have done that.

There is a fuel line from the main tank that supplies the sub-tank, and there is a vent line from the sub-tank to the top of the main tank.

I think I'd pull the tank cover off and maybe the tank and look for one of those lines folded or something, and I'd also check to make sure they are hooked up correctly to the sub-tank.

ok pulled the gas tank i couldnt tell if it was kinked or nor but i could bend the hose real easy as if it was kinked i bet that was the problem. If the bottom was kinda then it would suck gas from the top i bet. The coating on the gas line seems to make it kinka real ez should i replace it with something else ?

The hoses used on Hondas are pretty high quality, so I doubt they need replaced. The hose running to the top of the tank is a vapor return/vent line, and the other hose is the fuel supply. If either were kinked or pinched the machine would run briefly until the sub-tank ran empty. I forget if they are the same size, but if you got them reversed it also wouldn't get fuel.

Also, if the vent line on the cap were pinched or blocked...

Anyway, if you unhook the fuel supply line from the sub-tank, do you get good flow? You could probably also unhook the vapor line and see if you can blow air through it with a compressor set at a few PSI.

my vapor hose i know wasnt bent it went stright to the subtank no bends but it seems the gas fuel line could had been bent keeping gas from going to the subtank. I blow in the return line and gas shot out the fuel line.
