Tires 4 300 4x4

Im thinking about buying a 300 4x4 and I was wanting to know the best tires for mudding,what size to get without having to get a power kit?is it true you have to get a size less for the front,I have a Rancher 2wd and after all the good things I haved heard about the Honda 300 4x4,Im going to make it my next quad,thanks for your help....

CCMAN057--Whats up big guy!!! I guess Kevin finally talked you into getting the 300. Did you sell your truck and rancher 4x2 yet? I would go with the mud runners or superswampers due to the fact the will spin a litte (doesn't tear out the front end) and also are light enough to not sap all the power (vampires). The Mudruners would be my choice due to a little smoother ride on hardpack, but I due have another buddy that has a 300 w/ superswampers and its pretty much unstoppable. With the money you save not getting the Vamps, go out and get a winch or skidplates. How has the riding at Antioch been with all of this rain?
