Default angle sensor keeps going out

hi everybody, I have a 2006 honda rancher 400at. i had recentley replaced the angle sensor in it when my reverse wouldnt work right. it seemed to have solved the problem, temporarily. after about 50 miles with the new sensor, i have the same problems again. does anyone know what would make it go bad again shortly after replacing it? Thanks alot y'all. Dan

have you tried applying dielectric grease to the wires to keep the connectors dry? do you do a lot of mud riding, or I guess I should ask what type of riding are you doing when it go's bad?

if the angle sensor keeps getting Very wet it will not work correctly......but most of the time if you allow it to dry it will work proper again or turn off the key for a few and try it again....just a few of the things you can do in the field to test it, also are you getting any type of beep codes?

as far as price $100 is WAY too much go here and have a look at part #24, their $44.95 on this site, this might help you find one that's NOT over priced

NOTE: this is for my '09 500 , but I'm sure you can find your part very easily by starting here!

Just replaced one on our 09 Honda 420 and it was $58 plus labor. Evidently it is in a location that mud and dirt can get to it very easily and can damage it.

flip the Quad on its rear bumper remove the belly panel/skid plate it right their in your face. (again on the 500's)

Best of Luck guyz
