Default Parking brake mounted reverse selector, other options?

Is there any other options on the reverse lock out/selector mechanicism on the parking brake lever? Seems as tho it will get to be a pain in the butt if your plowing and need to back up often?

Honda's red button reverse set up has to be the most Complicated there is. I plowed a drive way with that set up on my old foreman, what a pain you have to use both hand and and you need reverse 100 times when plowing.

Hope you find the by pass trick. Good Luck.

I have no problem with you asking for help. But if you want to put that link in every post, you'll have a very short lifespan here.

I took a side plate from an old chain link and drilled one hole out so it the phillips head screw next to the red button would go through the plate and then just put the plate over the button, it holds it down so all I need to do to go into reverse is pull the brake lever...now the rear drum brake getting water in it and freezing after I park the machine is a whole other ball game...the brake shoes are on the bench, and I upgraded the front to disc brakes.

It's just the side plate off of an old 41 drive chain, I just took my die grinder and ground the pins off and popped the side plate off of the chain link an recycled it....got me a green honda I guess.
