Rancher 4x4 Whats your opinion?

I don't even know why you bother to ask a question like this on a Honda forum. Honda owners are worse than religous fanatics.
In their own minds their opinions my be honest, but they're of no use to anybody because they're always glowing endorsements.
It's like walking up to a bunch of Hare Krishna's and asking if you should convert.
In my opinion, it's underpowered and too slow. Plus they're not nearly as tough as the old 300's.
And I can't believe that there are people who talk about the reliability after only 500 miles. That's only about 10 days use. You must really torture that thing.

actually 500 miles with no problems is pretty good considering some other quads are back in the shop after the first ride!! By the way, I have a Honda 300, and the Rancher is every bit as durable, and MUCH more fun to ride.

In all honestly I really can't notice a large power difference, any difference for that matter. I really think they are a perfect size/weight for the machine. I am sure if YOU feel a difference it will be so little that a pipe and jetting will more and make up for it!

thenewfiebullet,
This is the first Honda ATV I have bought and if it was not up to standard I would be the first to tell you. (I am also a Yamaha fan) I don't have any problem pointing out short comings in a machine (note my past post when I speak of it not having 2WD). Overall the machine is one of the best in the class if not the best in MY opinion!
