Bolts to the front of the mounting plate. To make things easy......remove the front plastic bumper cover, then remove the bumper. Bolt the mounting plate to frame, bolt the winch to mounting plate.....replace the bumper.....bolt fairlead to mounting plate, then replace the bumper cover. You may have to trim the plastic bumper cover to fit around the fairlead. A good utilitie knife will do the job.

The winch mounting plate has two holes in the front that the fairlead bolts too.
You did get a mounting plate?????
Do you have the winch mounting plate bolted to the frame the right way????
Pics would be helpful!!!!

No!!Not really But the roller keep cable from getting bent or kinked and from cable pulling off of winch spool..[OFF THE SIDES OF SPOOL]. But winch will work fine without roller JUST have to be real careful how you pulled with it...Good Luck...
