I have to agree with FAST on this one.

It's known that "Cat" has the worst rear suspension in the industry. Which is a shame because only 2 years ago they were the best. And the fact that...Suzuki sucks!
The only thing they have going for them is their Batteryless EFI.

A note on Morgan and Hibbert:
The sleds they race and the sleds we buy are worlds apart.

I think Polaris is going to give the competition a run for their money this year. They finally went to powervalves on their 700 and 800 twins.

We are on an ATV forum talking sleds...and you guys still can't get along!

From what I have experienced Arctic Cat does have the best suspension for Sno-Cross. 400exrider, ever hear of pro-stock class = direct from dealer sleds, no major mods allowed. Cats are still on the podium...

The Ski-Doo SC-10 II and the upcoming SC-10 III are very nice suspensions. My SC-10 isn't the best but I added an AD Boivin coupling kit to it and it is much better now.

Some have said the best all-around sled for bumps, jumps and trail riding is the Polaris 600. Not one sled is going to be the best everywhere.

Want to talk about the best...Redline Snowmobile!

hey u guys don't u kno who won the old forge shoot out. the MXZ800 by far it had the most horsepower fastest ET in the 1/4 mile and was the lightest out of all the 800 twins-polaris and cats. buy the mxz 800 you will kill the competition. but if you wanna do somethin smart like i am gonna do wait till next year when ski-doo comes out with all new motors and suspensions.

Fast, stating the truth does not mean it is "brand loyal". The last sled I owned was a Ski-doo and I wouldn't fault anyone for owning one, it was a very tough sled.Look back at what the guy is looking for, and then look at what you recommended. The advice I gave him was shaped around what he stated he was looking for.Polaris has the worst build quality and as I stated before any of them would be fine (build quality) Arctic has the worst rear suspension? For what? Do you know what your talking about? In some of the mags the AC rear was critisized for not offering the best "ride quality" but is well known to handle big bumps and jumps the best, now for a guy who his aggressive, the AC rear and front are the best.Read what higgins said he was loking for and make your recommendations according to that.

I'm a polaris fan, but I would agree on the MXZ800 being the one to get. who knows what long term durability will be on that motor but its a monster, and very good on gas, it gets very nearly twice the mileage of the XC700 (no joke, and the 700 wasn't jetted overly rich) and Skidoo has a nicer built sled, you can tell just by looking under the hood. But I do prefer the "feel" of riding Polaris (although the Mxzx800X I rode is set up very stiff, never tried the regular MXZ800), and I'd get the 600VES which is IMO plenty of power to have fun and very good on gas with the VES. Once the 800 has VES with the M-10 rear I'd vote for that one.

Dont know much about Yamaha but they are very pretty.

The Polaris 800 does have V.E.S. now and you have the option of getting the M-10 for around $200 if you order it now on Snow-Check.

Yeah X, the XCF SP is a serious racer for the fan class, they wring almost 70HP out of that motor WITH Awesome suspension, pretty affordable too.
