We use a 5X13 trailer with a 4 foot ramp gate by Diamond C. It has 15" tires, so you can pull it at 85 mph (I wouldn't do that with 12" tires, but some people do) I back the first rancher on, then drive the second on. Put a towel between the front bumpers so they dont scrape. Its just short enough to back into the garage.

I got my trailer as part of a package deal on the last ATV I owned. I actually ended up getting the trailer for $300.00, I paid $4500.00 for a 96 Foreman 400 and the trailer, I rode the Honda for two years and just sold it for $4200.00, and I kept the trailer. There is a local dealer here that sells the Big Tex brand trailers, when I checked they were about $1000.00. I'm sure there is some place near you that will have similar trailers or you might be able to find something on the net. I wish I had a digital camera so I could post a picture of my trailer, everyone that has seen it has been impressed with the ease of loading machines. Good luck.

I saw a trailer that a guy purchased at a yamaha shop in Plano, TX. It has a back ramp that folded in two pieces so it would not stick up so high when driving. It also had another ramp in front of the wheels on the side (also 2 pieces) so you could drive on a second quad sideways. I do not know how long it was but I would not imagine it was more than 14ft. It was all black with a diamond plate bottom but I think it was $1,200. I do not remember who made it.

Hog,

Check out this web site for the Triton Aluminum trailer. It'll hold two large ATVs and it's less than 350 lbs. My trailer is based on this design with a few modifications I wanted.

Hi, I've got a 6x12 flat deck, low ride with 15" wheels and electric brakes. That's 6' between the wheel wells. It has rub rails all around for tieing down and placing the ramps, which sit under the deck when not being used. I usually haul two quads at a time, one sideways in the front and one lengthways. It will hold 3 sideways though. If I had it all to do over again, I would probably go with a 14' long model. I used to tow it with a 4 cylinder Isuzu, and it tows very well. When you buy, make sure you have enough room to put a box of some sort on it to hold gas, oil and other necessities. Good luck.
