Default new Rubicon

I spent the day on a new Rubicon the Forest Service let me take. It had 1.7 miles on it when I picked it up this morning.

I only put about 30 miles on it and returned it at the end of the day - I really enjoyed riding it. Probably still on the top of the list if I were to buy a new machine.

Good you got to ride a new one.

I was up at a Honda dealership when I was getting our NH registrations straightened out and they had one out on the floor. Non-adjustable rear shocks????? That one surprised me. Otherwise it seems like a good machine. I think if I sat on one it would probably sink a lot further down than if you sat on one.

Some things like adjustable shocks don't mean much to me. On the Polaris' I rode I had them set on the stiffest position or the suspension sagged or squatted making the machine wider than 50" even with the stock wheels.

I just love the Rubicons transmission.

My Rubicon is a 2011 and it has adjustable shocks. I'm sure the 12's do also.

I just went a looked at my pictures and this one has adjustable shocks front and rear. I wonder if the one you saw was an older left over.

I really like that Kolpin receiver too.

I spent yesterday riding a 2012 750i Brute Force with EPS - its a pretty nice machine.

I think I may be the one who had the mistaken identity. Is it the Rincon that has the IRS rear? That's the one that surprised me having non-adjustable shocks.

It was the Rincon I was thinking of then. I still don't get it that the flagship of Honda's ATV line doesn't have something as simple as preload adjustment on the rear spings.
