01 honda 250ex rolls backwards in gear when off

01 honda 250ex rolls backwards in gear when off

i just bought my wife a 01 honda 250ex when i put it in 1st gear with the eng off it will still roll backwards...any clue on what could cause this? it wont roll forward just backwards.

I think that is normal with the auto clutch.

ya i dont know much about these auto clutch. i was going off my yfz450 when its in gear i could lift up the front without it rolling back

Yeah, but your 450 is a REAL clutch. If you want to lift the front of the 250EX, you'll just have to set the parking brake.
