Default just bought a 2003 fourtrax 350 4x4.

just was curious on oils and gear oil to put in.i bought 80 90w belray gear oil and i see the differential says sae 80 i don't think that matters much and i also bought 10w40 oil for engine oil(maxima premium oil) just wanted some opinions on oils and what other people use. thanks guys and Merry Christmas and Happy New year.

also another few questions,how much engine oil do these hold? and how are these atvs on gas? hard on fuel?

also should i take apart any kind of bearings and re-grease bearings or anything like this?,its been a long time since ive owned a atv and ive owned a motocross bike afor few years now and your constantly working on those lol.just would like some advice and info on this atv and i'd greatly appreciate.thanks guys

Your good. 5w is better then 10w in cold weather starts ups.

I like 0w-40 its good in the coldest start up days or hottest summer days ,but it only comes in more exspensive full synthetic.

Engine holds 2.1 qts..This atv is different from motorcross now..Sealed bearings in wheels.. no need to service bearings....The 4wd models have cv axle boots can repack if like but not recommend unless replacing cv boot....Ride and enjoy.....

thanks alot sir,i appreciate.im going now to change my oil and gear oil!,i wanna try this thing out on the trails.also i was looking at a winch 2000 pound winch on sale for 100 buks?,and it looked like a decent winch or am i better off spending another 100 buks for a warn 2000pound winch?i didn't think so for as much as i will need it probabaly but..

Make sure the engine oil is designed for wet clutch, meaning it should not have any friction reducing additive

should i buy a promax 2000 lb winch for 100 buks or go with a warn for over 200-300 buks?
