Default 400EX won't start

So recently I put a new headlight switch on mine which includes the starter button, high/lo beams, and kill switch. I went splashing around in some water earlier so am not sure if that did it or what? I don't see why it would, aren't these things made to splash through puddles? Now it wont start or anything, turn the key on, lights don't come on, and the starter switch wont do a thing. What the heck is wrong? Really starting to think this thing is determined to nickel and dime me to death...It's a 2002 400EX if that helps, thanks!

The switch in these atvs are pretty simple....I would double check to see if it came unplugged first. Then check the main fuse....And get back here with us..Good Luck

Maybe a wire on the back of the ignition itself is/was corroded, and simply came apart. Also, If you turn the ignition on, and you get nothing, Like you said. It sounds like a bad fuse, or maybe a bad starter solenoid, Loose Battery Cable ??

Let The Fun Begin......LOL

As Far As Locating The Fuses, Check Near The Battery, Or Under The Seat. Maybe under the front hood, that houses the headlights, underneath the handlebars. They put them in the darndest places... Damm Engineers. LOL

Good Luck To You Bro.........
