Doesn't appeal to me, but maybe to someone.

Its sure a heavy thing to be using the 680 Rincons 39hp OHV motor and auto 3 speed tranny with no low range.
Its the first 4wd honda made with DIFF LOCK! Whoo, maybe there 4x4 ATVs will get it soon.
Only took them to 2013 to recognize diff lock. Just like it took to 2003 to get first selectable 2wd/4wd.

Honda does change but they are sloooow about it.

Honda had a diff-lock in the Big Red UTV that came out about 3-4 years ago. I figured they'd add it to their quads but still haven't to my knowledge. I don't understand them.

How is the limited slip front axle that all the Honda 4x4s have a diff lock? I've seen plenty of videos where the tire on the ground isn't spinning while the tire in midair is. I like Hondas. I want to see them offer the same features or better than the other manufacturers. I just don't get their hesitation to add something as simple as a full locker to their quads.

As I said, Honda put the diff lock on the Big Red when it came out a few years? ago. It would be simple to add it to their quads. I'd also love to see a Honda 2-up quad like Can-Am, Arctic Cat, and Polaris have. Same goes for Yamaha, Suzuki, and Kawasaki. All of the major makers, except Can-Am have plants in the US now. I don't see what's holding them back.

A Big Red is sure not a ATV. My old Honda Big Red was only 2wd and had 3 wheels.LOL

So they put diff lock on there SXS but its to much of a leap to put it on there 4x4 ATVs?

I think the original idea with the limited slip front end was to make it easier to turn when you have it in 4wd. A full locked diff in the front can be a little tough to turn. But with power steering I think that point is moot and they should go ahead and start putting the front diff lock in their quads. I know they are losing sales with their lack of features.

Was looking at a friends Rincon and I noticed the rear shocks didn't have any preload adjustment. Are you serious, Honda???? The competitors' kids' quads have adjustable shocks, never mind the bigger machines.
