HELP 86 trx 250r! Died on me while riding!

Piston about 175. Gaskets prolly 20. Bore prolly 40. New pin bearing prolly 10.
Those are approximate.
My R is modified.
LSR +2+1 a-arms
PEP ZPS front shocks
LSR chrome swingarm
PEP stock rebuild on the rear
RPM axel
LSR +1+1 anti vibe steering stem w/pro-Taper bars
PEP steering stabilizer
CGR 250 and 310 cylinders. I have a baldwin cylinder here somewhere.
LRD pipe
34 and 38mm Lectron carbs
Douglas beadlocks on the rear/rolled on the front
Maxxis all around
TT set-up also

Ddddddaaammmmm lol wish I had mine as modified like yours lol
I'm thinking of putting a (stage 1 power kit) from ESR, I really just want to bore it out to 310! Instead of doing everything to fix what just happened to mine, rather just by the kit that comes with everything.
Any recommendation lol Im on a budget, so the stage 1 power kit is something I can afford lol

You cannot bore to 310 (which is actually 292cc's to start). The cylinder would need a big sleeve installed.
ESR stuff is good.
When apart, you will need to wiggle the rod (no slop up and down)to make sure that's ok.

I've not seen them. Post a link.
:edit:
I looked. I see a ESR 310 for 699. To be honest, I'd buy the compklete kit from ESR ($917.99). For $219 bucks you get a pipe and other good stuff.
If it was me, I'd fix the stock cylinder and get a suspension. Suspension is how you go fast.

Boring will provide a lil more torque. Porting is where you gain rpm's.
Let me explain, I say suspension is how you go fast, unless your a drag racer, It's about being able to handle the speed for your riding circumstances. ie: woods/mx/dunes.
The motor is faster than the stock suspension will allow for handling reasons.

Rpm's are fine just remember, the more you port it for top end, the less bottom end you have.
Unless I'm TT racing, I rarely use the rpm's available.
Speed: depands on gearing. I stick a 15 tooth on the front and it'll scare ya.
TT usually 14/38
MX usually 13/38
Trails/hills 12/38
