Rancher again. Is the ES THE ONLY way to go?
#1
I am buying a Rancher tomorrow and will consider the standard shift. Will the ES make the standard shift seem primative? Will I be crying in my beer for not buying an ES? Once again, thanks for your replies.

The difference between the two models is only $200. The ES model offers you full floorboards which offer great mud protection, it also gives you the cool digital dash, and finally the push button shifting!
How could you go wrong with the ES?

Swift,
I guess Im torn. I bought a Rancher 4x4ES for myself and a Recon for my wife. At first I kind of wished a Bought a manual shift Rancher because I loved tooling around on her Recon. But a couple months later the ES has really grown on me. Let me say this: If I could get the Rancher in the manual shift and full running boards, also the great LCD display I might have done it. From what I understand the canadian versions comes this way. Anyhow, In my case I have the best of both worlds with the Recon and the Rancher. Bottom line go with the ES. Good luck!
