i am in the market for a new 4 wheeler. i am looking for a trx450r (kick start) when i look at it what should i check on it, and what questions should i ask the owner?

 

Id definitively check the out the air filter and see how clean it is and ask if he regularly cleaned it. I'd also ask about oil changes on it, how often he changed it and keep in mind the tranny oil is separate from the engine oil so ask how often he changed either of them. Also ask about the valves and if they were ever checked. Another thing is pickup the back of it and see if the axle wobbles up and down at all that'll show you if the rear bearing carrier needs replacing.
