I am not 100% that Spader is using that size but that is industry standard, or should I say the race standard. I run the +2+1 a-arms and a +4 axle and do most of my riding in the woods. I havent had a problem yet and the stability that you have with these mods are amazing. If you got the dough go for it.

Oh yeah and one more thing, if you are worried about being stuck with one size DuraBlue makes an adjustable axle from -2 to +4. I dont remember if it is the Excaliber or what but that might be perfect for you. Check it out.

do yourself a favor and get either a Lonestar or RPM axle.

both are adjustable, stock width up to +4.
