Foreman 400 - Wouldn't start without Neutral light
#1
I know the Foreman needs to be in Neutral to start, but I didn't know the little green light had to actually be on . . . Found that out a few days ago.
Under the right rear fender there are a few sets of wires. Two of them in one harness are for the reverse (i think) and the neutral light. A stick must've snagged the neutral wire and pulled it out because when I shut the machine off and tried to start it again, it wouldn't turn over. The bike WAS in neutral but the light wasn't on. After searching for 10 minutes I found this loose wire, made contact with it's connecting wire and I was on my way . . . Just thought someone may want to know.
P.S. The pull start doesn't work either if the neutral light is not on . . .
