I tried to wire my ex to start in reverse by grounding the gray wire. The starter would turn over but the wheeler would move backwards(it won't start) So I thought I would try grounding the other one. As I pulled the rubber boot off, the covering on the outside broke. It seems to run alright but does that connecter need replaced? Will it damage anything?
