i picked this bike up over the weekend. the guy i got it from flipped it trashed the front fender easy fix there but he told me the bike was still running he turned it off and it never started again. im getting spark and fuel any ideas

 

the amount of fuel i am getting seams to be way too much if i hold my hand over the carb then let off it pours into the air box could this simply be a carb issue

 

Float and needle's probably stuck open from the wreck. Check the carb then pull the plug,turn it over to clear out any excess fuel in the cylinder. New plug if needed plus check the oil for any gas contamination.
