Tire size change for 300ex

Q;stock 22-10-9 want to go with 20-11-9,What changes do i need?I heard i need to change front sprocket to 12tooth(stock 13).also looking for advise on rear tires razrs or bandits.I ride mud and about every thing.

No if you go to 20" tires with 12t front you will have too much low end, if your looking for more lowend you should stick with the 13t tires because you will end up with more lowend. If you want to stay near stock power go with a 14t.

I ran 20" Holeshots on the 300 for a while. It made the rear lower, and I was hitting a LOT of rocks. So, I went back to 22" (Holeshot XCT's). If clearance is a problem, that's something you will want to consider. An extra inch of clearance makes a lot of difference when you're only 4" off the ground. Consider rim width too when changing tires. A narrow rim will give you a taller and rounder tire profile than a wide one. Ex_master is right, you would go up a tooth in front to maintain stock gearing with 20".
