I just installed a set of 22x12x9 Bear Claws on my 400ex, and after watching the machanic changed them I'm pretty sure I could do it my self if only I had a bead breaker. Once the bead is broken removing and re-installing the tire is a peice of cake. Just use a little liquid soap around the rim to help the tire to slip off and on. Also the machanic told me I could use an old axle or steel pipe that will fit through the rim and secure it in a vice . this will hold it steady while you pry the tire off.
