Post 04 400ex Carb Problems

Hi,
So i took my carb apart and cleaned it, put it back together and gas isnt getting into the bowl. What can be the problem? I just did a rebuild kit on it last year. I have everything well with carburetor cleaner and with my air compressor so I don't know why that gas is not flowing to the Bowl. Please HELP!!! Thanks

Have you checked if fuel is coming out of the tank when the tap is on? If you have, and it is, the only thing to stop fuel getting into the bowl is the float needle, so either the level is set wrong, so it shuts fuel off when it should be open, or something is sticking, either the float hinge, or the needle itself, or there is an obstruction under the float keeping it closed. On some carbs you can put the float in upside down, are you sure you haven't done that?

I'm afraid I don't work on EXs, all our customers have utility Quads, many have a fixed float level, are you sure your new float needle is the same length as the one you took out? If you fitted a new needle seat, is it fully home?
