Default Starter gear problems

Hello.. I have a honda 350 fourtrax 1986 that has problems with something inside the motor not grabbing to start the bike. I have peeled apart where the starter is and all of the gears are good that i can see, i would like some answers if anyone could help, thanks

Those gears turn a one way clutch behind the flywheel. If the gears are OK the one way clutch must be slipping. Not a lot you can do with the ones on 300s and I guess the 350D will be the same. Remove the flywheel take the clutch off it, and replace with a new clutch.
