For some reason, maybe "tis the season", non of the honda dealers here in Central NC want to deal on a Rancher es 4x4... The BEST price I've seen is 5300. That's rediculous!! I'm getting feed-up with even trying to buy one. Can anyone help???
Anyone know a dealer with stock that's ready to deal around here???

thanks
gary

I have not checked on the 4x4 prices but my brother just bought a new 2001 2x4 Rancher ES for $3899.00 out the door from Lakehill Motors (Honda and Yamaha dealer) in Corinth MS. I know Mississippi is a bit of a drive but people show up on Saturdays from Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama, Arkansa, etc. with trailers and load them up 2 at a time. I know every state has a dealer that claims to be the "nation's largest" but I believe these guys. My brothers price included Honda's $300.00 off sale that they have been advertising.
I bought a 300EX there last year and only paid $4299.00 out the door. So some dealers are discounting but you may have to drive a ways.

Yes, as a matter of fact, I've been telling/showing the dealers here the printout of the trx350fe rancher for 4699 and they pretty much all just laugh at me and say "we have to pay 4800 to get ours" and I'm like you POS liar...
If that was the case then why don't they all take thier trucks and go load-up at the MS store...
I agree, if I lived closer I could justify it.

sasglm, I'm thinking about taking a ride Miss. to get a rancher 4x4es maybe we could ride togather and get them to cut a deal since we would be buying two and making a double purchase.

I probably will wait till the 2002's come out just to make sure the ranchers don't have 2wd/4wd option...I've been hearing rumors and that would be a huge plus.
