today i was riding and hitting some jumps. I stopped for a breather. One of my friends said i was leaking something, and i thought he was kidding because my quad never has problems.. but then i put some on my finger and smelled it.. it didnt smell like anything but then i tasted it, boy did it taste bad. I didnt think anything of it, so i started riding again and i went to go down a hill so i pulled my front brakes and they just stopped working.. OK. so i figured out that it was my brakes, but then i took a look at my line it didnt seem like it was broken, i went to go bleed my brakes not very sucsessfull at all. i dont know what is wrong.. any help will be apreciated.. im going to buy new brake pads and then try to bleed my brakes again and see if that works but any help you can give me will be great. Thanks!

thier might be something in the line stopping the fluid from coming out. Other than that, I don't have a clue what is stopping it.

Check your calipers maybe one of the piston seals blew and your leaking there you wont be able to bleed them until you find out where your leaking the fluid from so also check all your lines and banjo bolts and crush washers.

I'm not making fun here, but my first question is do you know how to properly bleed the brakes?

yeah i know how to bleed brakes i do it all the time.. i guess what i forgot to say in the first post was that i didnt have time to strip it all apart and look at it because i was at a friends house and it was getting dark.. so today i went out and stipped it down,i filled up on fluid and started squeezing my brakes.. i notices a hole in the steel tube, not the rubber line.. how ironic, it got a hole from pushing up against my steering column.. now i need to get a new one and they are 85$ doesnt that suck.. well i guess its more money out of my pocket!

check around on auction sites and see if you can find what you are looking for. I doubt you do but if you do it is better than $85.
