I had someone give me a fourtraxs 300 said it would not crank because of the carburetor I have put a brand new carburetor on it and starter And have no spark what so ever Neutral light comes on oil light all worked So I looked and looked found out it did not have a voltage regulator rectifier Got one says it is for my atv put it on And it fire up and ran but when I went to park it it shut off now no spark and No neutral light or oil light that comes on and then motor wouldn't turn off with the key it all quit after I put it in reverse backed up Then put it in gear and rode it around the yard and it shut down now the solenoid keeps blowing a 15 amp fuse going to the key switch I am new to this site any suggestions would be very helpful or schematics I can normally fix these things but I am stump PLEASE HELP

I was intending to copy the 300 diagram when I got back to work, but forgot, so have had a Google, usually pointless as some weird European site always pops up when you try to click on a wiring diagram. However, found one that is real and legible https://www.trxforums.com/threads/ho...-17161&slide=0 Warning, Honda kept changing wiring on the 300 and most changes were to reverse/neutral wires and the CDI. This one is from 89 and is quite different from a 97 300.
