Hey all,
my ranchers fuel tank is done for. I can only the fuel tank on partzilla for $369.00 . Is anyone aware of any off the market fuel tanks that are compatible and less expensive?

No, and I would guess the 2003 "facelift" model had a different tank, it certainly has different tank cover plastics. There should be loads of used, early 350 tanks in breakers, they are not something that usually needs replacing and, being plastic, have no scrap value, so tend to lie about on the shelf for years. We have one, but sending something that big back to the US would cost a lot. Check US eBay for used tanks.

Just looked at that pic again and it looks a lot more like a post 2003 model, with cutout for the odments box, which was fitted to late 350s only. Are you sure of that 2001 date?

 

I think 2000 to 2003 same and 2004 when the change was made here in the USA

 

OK, but that tank is a late one, as it happens I was working on an early 350 on Friday and there is a button like boss at the rear of a pre 2004 tank that the seat slides under, there isn't one on the tank in the picture

 

Merryman Tank isnt early model for sure I was just noting 2000 to 2003 was same but if he has the right year the tank is wrong for sure for that year
