I just bought a 86 250R that i'm restoring. But i need to know which nerfs to get for it. Are the AC pro-pegs the ones that have the footpeg made onto the nerf, and curve up in the back? And what are some other types i should consider. I really like the ones on Bill Balance's Honda 250R in an older issue of dirtwheels. they're AC i know.

Yes the pro pegs have the pegs on them, and they do bend up in the back. BUT so do some of the regular ac nerfs. Alot of people told me that regular ac nerfs dont bend up in the back, but mine did and so did a few other people on this board.

One more question...On the AC Pro Pegs, is the peg in the same position as the stock footpeg, or is it lower, higher, forward or backwards? Will it make any difference in the feel of the quad?

I think I read somewhere that the peg on the AC pro-pegs is either 1" lower or 1" back. I'm not sure, someone has to know.
