I had a 2014 to 18 Honda 500 in earlier this week, seized, probably been run short of oil. Anyway couldn't move it on pullstart, so took it off to move crank round and get piston to TDC. Pull start bolts were all loose. Thought little more of it, but got another 500, this time an auto in, making an awful racket from pull start. Checked and it had lost two pull start bolts, another had broken off and the remaining bolt was loose. So, looks like someone at the factory hasn't been tightening the pull starts properly. Worth checking, if you need to remove the airbox for any reason on these 500s, both were IRS models, though I wouldn't have thought that would make any difference.
