Alright, I know this topic has been beat to death but live with me for a sec here.

1.Where has everyone found the best deals on a s-bend silencer?
2.What jetting and how many discs are you running now?
3.Have you had any particularly good/bad experiences with this silencer?
4.Do I need a quite core? and how much?
5.would you recomend I get a KN filter with it? Then what jetting?

The cheapest place whould have to be rockymountainatv, right now i have no disks on it sounds better and gives it more top end,I dont think you would need a quite core its not really all that loud with all the disks and the sparkarrester that comes with it, i dont know what jet size to reccamend but you most likly will have to rejet, and i have the k&n and they suck i would get the twin-air thats what i am going to get soon.

 

Rocky Mountain is the cheapest AND they have free shipping on all the exhaust systems. I have both the e-series silencer and a new Pro-meg system. When I was first using the e-series on my 400EX I had a K&N filter, stock cam/piston and I used 12 discs, 158 main jet, and the stock slow jet. That worked great. I bought the quiet core insert but never use it much because I don't really need to be quiet where I ride, that and it hurts the performance noticably.
