My little recons been riping the ground up. Not too long ago i did some motor work. Its not exactly a 300ex or anything but i think its awsome. I just painted my A-arms Red.

 

Sounds kinda like my recon...more power is never a bad thing. My list of recon mods includes a lightened weisco high compresion piston, K&N Filter/Jet kit, sur-traks on .190 rims, 3 angle valve job, port enlarging and polishing, and a few other things...What exactally do you mean by race cut fenders (where are they cut, and how does it look)? It's kinda funny actually, after riding my 400ex, I can still hop on the recon and have a blast. My only real complaint is the suspension, but I guess dirtbikes and High Performance quads will do that to ya. It sounds like maybe a sport quad it something you would like to get. If you look for a while, a nice 250x can usually be found for under $1000, and you could even keep your screen-name...

I'm sure you clicked on the signature... and saw the picture of the Recon. You can cut yours the same, or more flare. Just get a hack-saw, and cut it. Make sure you draw your lines first, and measure them out, get them the same, and cut them off. I cut my Maier plastic.. you can copy and paste the signature, and go to Race Quad Pics, and mine is the black one.. Old pics, but.. after I cut the plastic. Later

 

I got the 3 angle valve job done by a friend of my dads who is really good with motors (he's done all my engine work), and I don't remember where I got my piston, but I think I bought it direct from wiesco.
