Hi, you say the dyno jet kit helped alot,what kind of gains would you say?I have a hard time understanding how just jetting would increase power with out changing stock air filter to allow more air and stock exhaust? Would you are anyone else beable to explain the theory of just the dyno jet kit?

goat, just the jet kit is possible. It will not do you any good unless you are running rich or lean. So if he was lean or rich he could of evened out his mixture with a jet kit. The kit alone will not give you any gain unless your mixture is off.

 

Thanks, that's what I was figuring because my bike is running just perfect now.I will be getting the full performance kit when it becomes available.

Understanding Honda's approach to ATV emissions should aid in understanding why this would help. Even in the owners manual it states that they(Honda) run the engines lean for compliance. the difference in mine was pretty remarkable. In a short stretch that we use to "drag race" I picked up about 7 mph, from 35 to 42 mph(approx.), and it just feels stronger no matter what the situation. Each machine will have some differences but mine is really performing well, much better than before. I can't wait to get the K&N.....whenever they make them available.
