Does a higher rev limiter on 400EX make any sense ? ?

dude i don't know..all i know is that it works.....my bike doesn't cut out in any gear.....i think that if the reverse limiter is cut out it discativates the whole rev limiter

HEY kbass those wires your talking about splicing together do you splice together the end that comes from the case or the other end that goes to the cdi ? i tried grounding it to the frame b4 and nothing happend it still hit rev limiter in reverse !! HELP !!

Splice the ends together that come from the case. I grounded mine to one of the bolts that holds the battery to the frame. Make sure to connect the two wires together and then ground them to the frame.

I tried that today and the bike won't even start.

First you need to connect everything back together in stock form. Connect the two wires you cut at the clutch lever and connect the white and green wires back to there case connecters. Then try it again.
