Yeah pudding, not a lot of quads, might be a lot of them, but there is so much room in australia (especially w.a. where I live) they all **** off back home and you never see none. I got not one person to ride with. More land than you could ever ride on, but it's crappy by my self. You got some friends together to ride with?.

 

Sam honda im 37, had a 400ex but sold it and was going to replace it with a raptor but have decided to wait for the 2002 model, because of the changes they,ve made to the tranny. I normally ride at lancelin, the pines or even wannaroo. Good to see another perth boy here.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

hmm...........yeah i am kinda lucky, i live in christchurch and we got a great club, theres over 60 phone numbers in the memebers directory too! so we have a few people

its a very active club (well some very active people in the club....there are always the people who aren't active....which is no fun [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img] ) and we are able to have a large number of events

we do a lot of trail riding, on the west coast and as far south as Alexandra (central otago.....6 hour drive one way....)
...its common for people to travel big distances to get together.....(the club president lives an hour from Christchurch, and last weekend he loaded his tractor on his truck and carted it 2 hours (one way) to the motox track we are going to use for the south island champs on the 7&8th of july.....what a good man

we have TT series underway at the moment next race days are the 29th august and 23 september

......south island MX champs are the 7 and 8 of july

we have speedway in july as well in bleheim........

and in august.....

......we did have a road race in the calender but we need leathers to do that.....

we had a 'trials' day 2 weekends ago.......like obsticale courses......and we have quiet a strong kids side of the club.......the kids are competing in there own competition run with the TT series etc......

i am not orginally from christchurch (i from gisborne on the north island)......but the club is worth me staying close to CHCH when i finish at university..........its a great club.......just wish a few more people would help at events.....my self included

bikes in the club which turn up on events are interesting.......we kinda get a good selection
400ex,300ex(up to 380cc),250x,warrior (350s and 426), raptor, DS650, couple of blasters, lots of LT80, and LT50, coupole LT250 and LT500, Banshee.....few guys on them, polaris.....400 4x4,500 4x4 (and a 623cc one of those),trailblazer etc, there is one tecate, the quadzilla (350hp 1300cc turbo), another smaller superquad, and not to mention the trikes.....up to 7 of them can race......250r and a couple if 350x (ones mine).....not to mention the 25r atv's.......330r etc

i guess it is a bit different given the size of the country and the population spread to get together.......but if ya like the sport that much, distance is never a problem.......apparenlty members from this club have raced in aussie once before!.........a team went to france last year!
