465ex kit???
#2
I think I read about this kit, don't they make like a 506 kit also. Well my personal opinion is that I bet it would just RIP! I don't know about reliability though. I think it might have been made for dragsters though. Let me know what you decide to do.

hey
well i called curtis sparks today and asked him how the reliability was today. he told me that all the 465 kits he has put in, that there hasnt been no problems yet. but he couldnt garentee me anything. but he sounded pretty confident and also told me this kit was awesome for what i do. so i went a head and made a date to send my engine off. i wont be able to send it though, untill the end of september.
thanx

if you already have all the head work done then the 465 will be the easiest thing to do! if you have a local shop that can bore cylinders all you will need to do is order the parts from Sparks. i have seen what 440's can do to some modified banshees, i can only wonder about the 505.

Sparks builds some sweet stuff. I have a 440 National from him and it is very fast. He really does have some good parts in the kit to add to reliability. Make sure you get the hd con rod, hd cam chain, and clutch kit. I have put alot of hours of very abusive racing on my 400EX in the last 3 months and havent noticed anything wrong. He does excellent tuning work too, my 400EX starts better now than it did mostly stock.
Like Hylton400EX said the 440s run real good, and I am sure a 465 would even be more impressive.
