From what i have been reading from FSW, Sparks 465ex was one of the top bikes out there. Why arent any of you talking about it??

 

The Sparks 465 was brutally fast.

It was clocked at 54 MPH UP olds hill, only about 6 mph slower than the Sparks Raptor.
VERY fast.

I raced a sparks 465 on methanol in pismo beach last weekend and it was pretty dang fast. I saw him racing a few guys and was beating them pretty good so i decided to roll out my gas 370 honda. I beat him by about 4 bikes and he said that his 465 ran side by side with dericks (one of the fastest 465's around) so on that assumption id say they are pretty fast, but not unbeatable by any stretch. I then raced him on our other bike which is on methanol, he raced about half track and i guess he was 8 bikes behind me at half track so he decided to wave his white flag and surrender to the methanol 2-stroke. Nonetheless they are damn fast though. I talked to him a little bit afterwards and he said he was sick of dumping so much money into his motor. Im guessing what he meant is that it wasnt very reliable and we all know how much 4-strokes cost to fix!
