I'm not trying to state that its hard to find two stroke parts but it is getting harder to find aftermarket parts for the LT250R compared to a few years ago. Its not near as popular as the 250R and therefore doesnt have the demand for as many parts. No demand equals no supply. I know you can still find them but in the future I'm sure it will be harder. The 400EX has a following as strong as the 250R did back in the day, parts should remain easier to get for a longer period of time as compared to the LT250R.

ah yes america...land of the free and home of the brave..where no one is as free as these should and few are brave enough to do anything about it...i have never found the part of the constitution where it says the government has the right to ban things...we are free market but only if the government lets us do it..that bothers me..bother any of you? where will our coutry be in 20 years? im guessing rather socialist and screwed up...just imagine our coutry as a true free country...amazing isnt it? the entire economy would be awsome...the government really pisses me off...they go way out of there power and screw us all over...if i want to make a noisey poluting two stroke then its my buisiness..its my right...if the american people dont want it they wont buy them...God bless america...it sure needs it...

Brian

Actually, Polaris has been moving away from the two strokes for several years now. They only offer 2 two stroke engines (250 and 400) and these are only available in three models (Scrambler 2x4, trailblazer, and explorer). Polaris and Yamaha both seem to be gearing up to eliminate the two strokes. Yamaha introduced the Raptor as an eventual replacement of the banshee and Polaris is rumored to be introducing a 700 range twin sport machine. I think the elimination of the two stroke would hurt snowmobile and PWC sales more than atvs. Just my thoughts.

Two strokes are not banned in California and I don't see it happening anytime.
Two strokes can be ridden in California. You can even buy new 2 strokes and ride them; you will just get a sticker that only allows you to ride them certain times of the year in certain places (for example, you can only ride in Glamis in the winter [which is cool 'cause it's way too hot to ride there in the summer!]) and in other places you are allowed year-round. Older 2 strokes with green stickers are grandfathered in and can be ridden year-round where ever.

as long as there is a republican in office 2 strokes wont be banned. might end up going to war but thats a different issue hehehe. enjoy the time we have now to ride 2 strokes, instead of worring about them getting banned.

If you dont like our laws etc you could always move your ungrateful a$$ somewhere else! I'm sure its much better in China, Mexico, and Russia! Have fun my friend and if you find a bette place to live that has more freedom than we do let me know. In the meantime I'll meaninglessly continue on in the Marine Corp so morons like you can complain about how bad you have it here.
